WordPress Developer

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer having experience of around 1-3 years to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress, web development best practices, and a passion for creating high-quality websites. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining WordPress sites, implementing themes and plugins, and ensuring optimal performance and user experience. 

  

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer or similar role. 

• Strong understanding of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. 

• Familiarity with WordPress REST API and custom post types. 

• Experience with popular page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery). 

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, ensuring high performance and availability. 

• Customize themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements. 

• Collaborate with designers and content creators to implement design mock-ups and user interfaces. 

• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and overall user experience. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites. 

• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. 

• Implement security measures to protect websites from vulnerabilities. 

• Conduct regular backups and updates of WordPress installations and plugins. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce. 

• Knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics). 

• Basic understanding of graphic design principles
